The Church Mouse Thrift Shop, St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 391 Nelson St. (TCH), Crapaud, is open on Friday and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon throughout September, featuring books, CDs, men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, home furnishings, dishes, collectibles and much more. Capture the Queen of Hearts is at the Fort Augustus Rec Centre, Fridays, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Trivia is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold until 8 p.m. for a chance to win a growing jackpot.
