MONTGOMERY, Brenda Jean

The funeral for Brenda J. Montgomery of French River was held Monday September 11, 2017 in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel, Kensington where the service was conducted at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Margie Fagan. Words of remembrance were shared by her children David Montgomery, Corey Montgomery and Susan Nunn. Soloist and guitarist Leon Gallant rendered the selection Peace in the Valley and Mother of Mine. A scripture reading was given by her brother Lorne Pidgeon. The Poem Your Mother is Always With You was read by her sister Ruth Sudsbury. Congregational Hymns were Amazing Grace and Love Me Tender. Organist was Hugh Jones. Attending the funeral were members of Coronation Women’s Institute, St. Thomas Anglican Church Women, District 20 Liberal Association, the Out to Lunch Ladies Group, Police Chief Dave Poirier and officers of the Summerside Police Department and Police Chief Lewis Sutherland of the Kensington Police Department. Honorary Pallbearers were Nancy & Waldon Burt, Glen & Barb MacKay, Gladys & Everett Burt, Jamie Cousins, Louis Ellsworth, Lola Ogilvie, Amy McCarville and Richard and Eva Devine. Pallbearers were Grandsons Kent Nunn, Aaron Nunn, Spencer Montgomery, Alex Montgomery, Brett Montgomery, Dylon Montgomery, Matthew Montgomery and Jordon Montgomery. Flowerbearers were Grandchildren Sabrina Nunn, Amanda Gallant, Rachel Gennis, Stacy Montgomery, Carter d’Entremont, Ryan d’Entremont, Emily d’ Entremont and Maxx Montgomery. Interment was in St. Thomas Anglican Church Cemetery.
