JEFFERY, Wilbert Cecil

The funeral for the late Wilbert Cecil Jeffery, beloved husband to Verna (nee McDowell) Jeffery of Alberton and formerly of Alma P.E.I. was held on Friday September 22, 2017 from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel Alberton where funeral service was conducted at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. Darrock Fagan who brought words of comfort to the family. The first reading from Ecclesiastes 3:1-11a was addressed by family friend, Judy Dunbar. The second scripture reading from Psalm 23 was addressed by family friend Rev. Sylvia Dyer. The prayer “Teach Me O Lord was addressed by family friend Jocelyn Villiotti. The prayers of the people was invited by family friend Jan Cox. A Poem “Close The Gate” was said by granddaughter Jennifer Pitre. The choir led in the singing of the hymns, Amazing Grace, In The garden and How Great Thou Art. The organist was David Barbour. Staff from Kent Building Supplies attended in a body. Everyone in attendance were considered to be Honorary pallbearers. The active pallbearers were sons Carter Jeffery, Randy Jeffery, Robert Jeffery, Kenny Jeffery Grandson Mark Jeffery and son in law, Rheal Lacroix. The flower bearers were granddaughters, Jennifer Pitre, Marcy Ellis, Corinda Jeffery, Madeline Arsenault, Cheryl Clements, Courtney Jeffery, Shaylyn Wallace Darcie Jeffery. Interment was in Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery Alma with Rev. Darrock Fagan officiating. www.rooneyfh.ca
