The Peakes Tee Bombers look to finish off The Alley Stratford Athletics tonight while the A’s are looking to build off a big comeback.

Game 5 of the best-of-seven Kings County Baseball League final goes at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Field in Charlottet­own.

The Bombers won the first three games of the series and were leading by two runs going to the bottom of the seventh Sunday in Stratford.

But then the Athletics got a hit and took advantage of an error, stringing a few more hits together before Jonny Arsenault hit a sacrifice fly to left field to plate Marshall Ellis and prolong Stratford’s season.

The Holland College Hurricanes baseball team swept its way to an Atlantic Conference title last weekend after taking both ends of doublehead­ers against the Dalhousie Tigers and the Saint Mary’s Huskies.

With the four wins, the ‘Canes went to 13-1 and clinched the Canadian Collegiate Baseball Associatio­n Atlantic regular season crown, three wins better than the second-place Huskies (10-6).

Holland College ends the season today with a double dip versus the St. FX X-Men (3-11) in Antigonish, N.S. Game 1 starts at 5:30 p.m.

Holland College plays two exhibition games Saturday, Oct. 14, against the Central Maine Community College Mustangs in Auburn, Me., before the national Canadian Collegiate Athletic Associatio­n championsh­ip Oct. 26-28 in Oshawa, Ont., hosted by the Durham College Lords.

Sunday Hurricanes 7, Huskies 6 (13 innings) Hurricanes 14, Huskies 1

In Game 1, a 6-2 Saint Mary’s lead put the ‘Canes in a hole in the final few innings before mounting a comeback.

Holland College tied the game 6-6 to force extra innings where it took until the 13th inning for Holland College to drive home the winning run.

In Game 2, the ‘Canes made short work of the Huskies in a 13-run romp.

Saturday Hurricanes 10, Tigers 0 (called after six innings) Hurricanes 11, Tigers 2

The Hurricanes built an 8-0 lead through five innings in the first game, ultimately stretching it to a 10-0 lead and forcing the game to be called in the sixth inning via the 10-run rule.

Brady Arsenault earned the win, while Brayden Handrahan entered the game in relief.

In Game 2, the Tigers jumped out to an early 2-1 lead through two innings.

The Hurricanes run was courtesy of a Colton Beach solo home run.

The Hurricanes retook the lead when Charles MacLellan hit a RBI triple followed by a Danny Rice RBI single to put the ‘Canes up 5-2.

A strong final few innings for the Hurricanes, including a solid pitching performanc­e by Tanner Banks, sealed the win.
