Ford likes Rash B Havior, Campbell in feature race
Rash B Havior has not missed the board in five straight starts at Red Shores at the Summerside Raceway, but six feature pace foes will put that record to the test during tonight’s special program.
The 12-dash card gets underway at 6:30 p.m. with the Mike Peters-trained and owned Rash B Havior drawing Post 5 in the Race 11 featured pace for a $2,100 purse.

Two top pacers are shipping in from the mainland for the race. Western has rail control for owner-trainer Dawn Ellis Abbott of Lower Onslow, N.S., with Dale Spence doing the driving behind the winner of 33 races and $213,000 in prize money.
The far outside has Wave That Banner getting Walter Cheverie at the lines for trainer Eric Wilson of New Brunswick, who has been racing the 10-year-old son of Banner Yankee on the Maine fair circuit where he won in 1:56.2 two starts back over the fair track Oxford.
Race analyst Bo Ford is going with Emyvale-owned pacer Rash B Havior.
“Rash B Havior has had a few weeks since Campbell last hopped up on him and if you follow him at all, this guy puts his best foot forward for Marc,” Ford said. “He made up a ton of ground last week and ran out of real estate. Expect him to be in play early.”
Other feature entries include Dbs Rosco (Kenny Arsenault), Old Buck (Jason Hughes), Allstar Seelster (Norris Rogers) and Machinthesand (Ken Murphy).
Cyrax has been undefeated since relocating to red soil, but faces his toughest test to date in the Race 7 backup class with Spence driving for owner-trainer Barry Biggar of Summerside from Post 2. The four-year-old son of Intrepid Seelster had his latest victory in a snappy 1:57 mile as he readies himself for a hardened field of Prince County pacers.
One of Cyrax’s rivals is Culpepper, who was ninth his last start in the only blemish of his previously perfect top two record on P.E.I. Culpepper gets rail control this week in the $1,800 class with Adam Merner at the controls for trainer Kristina McCourt of Kensington. Pictonian Storm (Gary Chappell) has been a force all season at Summerside and gets the notoriety of being the post time favourite from Post 5.
Ultimatelyhandsome (Hughes) could slip under the radar in the class after being a defeated post time favourite last week in Charlottetown after an early break. The son of Western Paradise had been racing the top group Summerside has to offer previous to that start.
