Patricia Donahoe Doucette passed away peacefully at Gillis Lodge. Patricia Donahoe Doucette of Roseneath died on Sunday, October 1,

2017. Born in

Poplar Point on August 17,

1922, she was the daughter of the late

Joseph and

Emma (MacLeod) Campbell. Patricia was the wife of the late John Donahoe (1952) and the late Lawrence Doucette (2006). Remarkable and amazing Mother to Daisy (Joe) Brown, Joe (Maureen) Donahoe, Edward (Joanne) Donahoe and Julia Donahoe (Sandy) MacDougald. Patricia was blessed with 12 grandchild­ren and 16 great grandchild­ren. Patricia is also survived by her special nephew Reginald Campbell “like a brother” in Kamloops, B.C. and her sisters-in-law Felicia (Edward dec.) Donahoe, Romona Doucette, Dolores (Rene dec.) Doucette, Dorothy (Vernon dec.) Doucette, Randy (Ann) Doucette and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also predecease­d by her siblings Georgina Campbell, Julia (Maurice) Redmond, Ellen (Charles) MacDonald, and Emma Josephine and Morris Campbell in infancy. Predecease­d by in laws on the Donahoe side: parents-in-law John and Margaret Donahoe and Sr.Margaret and Sr.Regina Donahoe, Marie (Guy) Cain, Agnes (Earl)Walsh, Gudula Roden, Rita Donahoe, Florence (Alban)Brothers, Robert (Maureen) Donahoe, Laurena (Allen) MacDonald, Ann (Raymond) Gill, Gavin Donahoe and on the Doucette side: parents-in-law Joseph and Rose Doucette and Donald (Lucienne), Germaine, Fr. Bill, Jackie (Winnifred), Kenneth (Helene), Joseph (Mildred), Margaret ( Reginald) Hughes . We as family want to thank the staff at Gillis Lodge and Perrins Marina Villa for all their care during Mom’s transition from home. As family, we feel deep gratitude for all the staff at Gillis Lodge that formed the Honor Guard for Mom as she left her earthly home. Resting at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Cardigan, for visitation on Friday, October 06, 2017 from 2 -4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held Saturday, October 07, 2017 at the church at 11 a.m. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scents. If desired, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to All Saints Cemetery Fund, St. Georges Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice.
