SULLIVAN, Geraldine
The Funeral for Geraldine Sullivan was held on Monday, October 2, 2017, from Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home to All Saint’s Catholic Church, Cardigan. The Funeral Mass was celebrated by Fr. Tim Broderick. The Pall was placed on the casket by Geraldine’s sisters Claire MacKenzie, Lois McInnis and Georgie MacAulay. The Readings were proclaimed by Tracey Bennett and Kim MacKenzie. Prayers of The Faithful were offered by Joanne Sullivan. The Altar Servers were Kenny MacPhee, Joe MacDonald and Nora MacDonald. Eucharistic Ministers were Kenny MacPhee and Nora MacDonald. Organist was Joan Murchison. The Funeral Mass was sung by St. Mary’s Funeral Choir. The Entrance Hymn was “Here I Am Lord”, the Responsorial Psalm was “The Lord Is My Shepherd”, the Communion Hymn was “Hail Mary Gentle Woman”, was sung by Jean Marie McKearney and Claire Waddell. Song of Farewell was “Songs Of The Angels”, and the Recessional “How Great Thou Art”. The Pallbearers were Devon McGuigan, Dylan McGuigan, Morgan Bell, Tanner Nicholson, Bobby Jamieson, Darcy MacKenzie, Kevin Fogarty and David Fogarty. The Flower Bearers were Natalie Ghiz, Julia Sullivan, Maria Sullivan, Kara Bell, Hannah Bell, Taylor Nicholson and Maggie Jamieson. The Honorary Pallbearers were everyone in attendance. Among those attending the Funeral Liturgy were Cardigan Consolidated School retired Staff; members of the C.W.L.; Cardigan Volunteer Fire Department; Three Rivers 50 Plus Club; Staff of the Department of Transportation and members of the Progressive Conservative Party of PEI. The Committal Service took place in the All Saint’s Parish Cemetery, Cardigan. Following the Prayers the grandchildren placed a rose on the casket in memory of Geraldine.
