Sunday, Oct. 29, 2 p.m., for the 26th annual Daniel O’Hanley Memorial Lecture at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Hall, 151 Stratford Rd., Stratford. Organized by the Latin American Mission Program, the presenter at this pubic event is Sara Torres, assistant professor of social work, Dalhousie University, Halifax, on the topic - Challenges Facing Immigrant Women: “The Cry of the Earth”. Entertainm­ent and refreshmen­ts will follow the lecture. All are welcome.
