St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church to host final tribute concert Oct. 16
The popular Lady Singers of Our Century tribute show presents its final show for 2017 on Oct. 16 at St. Marks Presbyterian Church in Sherwood.
The concert will pay homage to country music stars like Tanya Tucker, Rita MacNeil, Loretta Lynn, Emmy Lou Harris and Patsy Cline.
Tickets are $12 at the door or call the office for advanced sale. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. There will be a light lunch served.

Hosts Joan Reeves and Judy McGregor will introduce Jolee Patkai, Keila Glydon and Colleen MacPhee as they perform the songs of these country music artists.
Patkai, a singer-songwriter who has released two CDs “Going Home” and “Shore Rhapsody” and is a member of the group “Treble With Girls”, will pay tribute to Loretta Lynn and EmmyLou Harris.
Glydon, who performs with Dino and the Harmonies and Phase 11, has written many songs, many of which can be found on her latest gospel CD, “Here I Am Lord”. She pay tribute to Patsy Cline.
MacPhee, originally from Georgetown, has been singing since the age of 12. She has two recordings to her credit. She will be paying tribute to Rita MacNeil one of her favourite female artists.
MacGregor and Reeves, also known as the comic duo, Ding and Dong, will be paying tribute to Tanya Tucker and the MacGuire Sisters and telling lots of humorous stories.
