Biz2Biz promotes success

Organizers of the 12th annual Biz2Biz Expo are gearing up for another busy event, which takes place Thursday at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown.
The annual Biz2Biz Expo is Atlantic Canadas premiere business to business showcase and networking event.
The expo provides the local business community the opportunity to network and showcase their products and services. It features hundreds of exhibitors, high profile keynote speakers, and a networking luncheon.
“With more than 125 exhibitors participating, the Biz2Biz Expo provides an opportunity for our business community to network, and promote their products and services,” said Rory Francis, president of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce, which hosts the event.
This year’s keynote speaker is Paula Morand, who will offer her “truth told straight”approach to achieving bold sales. Morand’s talk is sponsored by Vogue Optical.
Alex MacLean, CEO of East Coast Lifestyle, presented by the Chamber’s BizUnder40 program, will share his entrepreneurial journey of turning a university project into a successful national brand.
His presentation, Behind the Brand, will include his university career journey where he switched from biology to business to follow his love of entrepreneurship. He will share his early stage growth of building a business while finishing university and the struggles and triumphs that came with taking on the entrepreneurial challenge. MacLean will also talk about successful marketing tactics, the power of social media, and using influencers to build a brand.
For over 23 years, Morand’s dreaming big and being bold approach to leadership building and revenue boosting has been shared worldwide. Having worked with more than 25,000 clients in 19 countries, her vibrant energy, humour and wisdom ignite individuals, organizations and communities to lead change, growth and impact in a more bold fashion. A former radio personality, author and award winning entrepreneur, “Paula’s Bold Sales: Secrets of Super Achievers” will candidly reveal her proven sales acceleration tips, demonstrating how to be successful in a competitive sales world.
MacLean will present at 11 a.m. and Morand will begin her keynote address at 2:30 p.m.

The Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce presents the event with support from Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Innovation P.E.I. Biz2Biz Expo takes place on Thursday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown. Admission is free.
