Fundraiser

Step up to the Plate, the fourth annual fundraisin­g dinner for the P.E.I. Food Exchange, is Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the P.E.I. Farm Centre. Appy hour starts at 5 p.m. with cash bars for oysters, sushi, kombucha and liquor. Dinner, prepared by chef Emily Wells, is at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25. Call Shannon at 902-629-6461 for details. Proceeds support the initiative­s of the Food Exchange to improve food security on P.E.I.

The Seniors Active Living Centre in the Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, is having a Euchre tournament on Oct. 24.
