MUISE, John Joseph

The funeral for John Joseph Muise was held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from Belvedere Funeral Home to St. Pius X Church where the mass was presided over by Fr. Philip Callaghan, who also proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The readings were proclaimed by Christine Costello and Jannele Mason. Erin Costello led the Assembly in the Prayers of the Faithful. The organist was Karen Power. During the mass the church choir under the direction of song leader Irene Gallant sang The Lord Is My Shepherd, Peace is Flowing Like a River and We Shall Go Out. The prelude, Hallelujah was sung by Tessa Hood. Bonnie and Gaye Hood sang Here I Am Lord as the processional. The offertory hymn was Bread of Life and an Irish Blessing was sung by Bonnie and Tessa Hood. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Costello, Don Chandler and David Griffin. Pallbearers were Ronnie Trowsdale, Ron Trowsdale Sr., Sean Costello, Mark Costello, Leon Muise and Wayne Malone. Interment took place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Following the Mass, everyone was invited to join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the church hall.
