With bro­ken hearts, our fam­ily an­nounces the pass­ing of Richard Ger­ard Cormier, age 34, on Novem­ber 10th, 2017, from the re­sult of a tragic car ac­ci­dent. Born in Mon­tague on Au­gust 23rd, 1983, Richard is the son of Ger­ard and Jean (Clory) Cormier. Be­sides his par­ents, Richard will be greatly missed by his two sons, Ad­den and Rayo, who were ev­ery­thing to him. Richard will also be greatly missed by his sis­ters Lind­say (Adrian) Crane, Corinne Cormier, and his God­son Gage. Richard was like a sec­ond fa­ther to nu­mer­ous chil­dren. Richard will also be greatly missed by his pa­ter­nal grand­mother Is­abelle Cormier, nu­mer­ous aunts, un­cles, nieces, neph­ews, cousins, and friends. Richard was pre­de­ceased by pa­ter­nal grand­fa­ther John Cormier; ma­ter­nal grand­par­ents Richard “Dick” and Florence Hearn; and his un­cle, Andy Clory. Rest­ing at Fer­gu­son Lo­gan Mon­tague Fu­neral Home with vis­it­ing on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 16, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. Fu­neral Ser­vice to be held on Fri­day, Novem­ber 17 at 10 a.m. from the Fu­neral Home Chapel. In­ter­ment to take place in St. James Par­ish Ceme­tery, Ge­orge­town. In lieu of flow­ers do­na­tions to the trust fund for the chil­dren Ad­den and Rayo. Fu­neral Ser­vice will be streamed live here on the Fer­gu­son Lo­gan Mon­tague Fu­neral Home Web­site.
