The funeral for Anne Marie Murphy of The Mount Continuing Care Community, Charlottetown and formerly of Kensington was held Friday November 17, 2017 from the Davison Funeral Home Kensington to St. Mary’sHoly Family Church Kensington where the funeral mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by Father Frank Jay. The first Reading was given by Lydia Hood Csinos. The Second Reading was given by Rachel McCarthy. Prayers of the Faithful were offered by Lydia Hood Csinos & Rachel McCarthy. Remembrances were shared by Chris Murphy. The Prelude, A Mother’s Prayer was rendered by Bonnie Hood and Tessa Hood. Opening Hymn was Christ, Be Our Light. Cantor Bonnie Hood led the responsorial Psalm, Shepherd Me, O God. The Offertory Hymn Ave Maria was rendered by Norah Molyneau, accompanied by Flora Anne Whitty, Bonnie Hood and Helen Elliott. Communion Hymn was Bread of Life. Post Communion Hymn was Miracle of the Rosary. Recessional hymn was City of God. Organist was Leo Marchildon. Altar servers were James MacLellan, Carol Evans and Audrey Glover. Attending the funeral were members of St. Mary’s Holy Family CWL. Pallbearers were Ben Murphy, Luke Hood, Matthew Hood, Jared Murphy, Kolbe Arsenault and Noah Murphy. Flowerbearers were Jamie Arsenault, Tobias Hood and Madelaine-Roz Hood. Parking attendants were James Condon and Charles Condon. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Indian River. Members of St. Mary’s-Holy Family CWL held a prayer service at the funeral home Thursday evening conducted at 5:30 p.m. by Marion Curley and Carol Evans.
