Saturday, Dec. 2, 5:30 p.m. for Park Royal Church’s annual festive turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2-3 p.m. and 3-4 p.m., for Build-a-Birdfeeder: Christmas edition. Assemble a quality wooden birdfeeder to hang in the backyard and help feed local and migrating bird species during winter. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 8 p.m., for the annual Community Christmas party, hosted by the Clyde River WI, to be held at the Riverview Community Centre. Enjoy holiday refreshments and entertainment. This year, instead of a gift exchange organizers are asking for cash donations to the Westwood School Christmas Helpers Fund.
Saturday, Dec. 9, 1-4 p.m. (storm date, Dec. 10), for a Christmas House Tour being hosted by the Meadow Bank Women’s Institute. The tour includes five homes in Meadow Bank decorated for Christmas. Tickets are $15 and include light refreshments and door prizes. Proceeds support the Cornwall Food Program and Meadow Bank Women’s Institute. Fundraiser
The annual Stratford and Area Food Drive is Sunday, Nov. 19, with volunteers going door-todoor, 1-3 p.m. Donations are in support of the Upper Room Food Bank. For further details or to volunteer, call 902-569-4769.

A new support group for anyone with pulmonary fibrosis or any serious lung disease holds an informal meeting once a month at Stratford town Hall on Shakespeare Drive in Stratford. Come and learn from each other. The next meeting will be Nov. 19, 2-4 p.m. For information, call 902-626-7014.
