Awards deadline nearing

West Prince Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner

-

The West Prince Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner is several months away, but the nomination deadline for the chamber’s first awards is just around the corner. Nominations need to be received by Dec. 10.

In all but one of the categories, nominees need to be paid-up members of the West Prince Chamber of Commerce.

The award Community Impact is open to any organization or individual that has made an outstanding contribution to the economic, social and cultural wellbeing of one or all communities in western P.E.I.

Recipients for all other categories, Business Excellence, Emerging Business Growth, Best Website/Social Media Marketing and Chamber Ambassador(s) of the Year, must be West Prince Chamber members.

The chamber, which reactivated at the beginning of 2017, now has over 130 members and a goal of hitting 150 before the end of 2017. There is still time to join and be eligible for the awards.

For all categories, nominations may be submitted by any member of the public. Forms are available online at westprincechamber.com.

Once nominations close, Chamber members will have from Dec 15 to Jan. 21 to vote for the nominees.

Awards will be presented during the Chamber of Commerce’s first Business Excellence gala dinner on Feb. 22.
