Reserve

Tuesday, Dec. 5, 4:30 p.m., for a seniors roast turkey dinner with all the trimmings, being put on by the Seniors Group of Holy Redeemer, at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre on Pond Street, Charlottetown. The price is $13. Tickets can be reserved by calling David at 902-892-1558 by the 5 p.m. deadline on Dec. 3. Call early as this dinner has sold out before the deadline many times.

Sunday, Dec. 16, 2-4 p.m., for the Annual Bob Doucette Christmas get-together at the Farmers Bank in Rustico. There will be sleigh rides or wagon rides, cider, cookies and Santa Claus. Bring the children for a fun time, compliments of the Friends of the Farmers Bank and the Cymbria Lions Club.

Information session

Women’s Employability Program information session is Tuesday, Nov. 28, 11 a.m., at the East Prince Women’s Information Centre, 109 Water St., Summerside, for any women wanting to enhance their chances of finding work and enhance their employability skills. The Cornwall and Area 50+ Club meets weekly at the Cornwall Civic Centre on Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m., for cribbage, auction and brief business items. Skip Bo is played on Thursdays, 1 p.m. Admission is $2.

The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, is having a Euchre tournament on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Registration is at 12:45 p.m. with the tournament starting at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. There will be a 50/50 draw as well as prizes for first, second and third.

Mayflower Seniors card play is at the Cotton Centre in Stratford, Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.

Cribbage is Tuesdays, 1 p.m. at the Star of the Sea Seniors’ Club, Sunrise Crescent, North Rustico.

An ACBL sanctioned duplicate game is Tuesdays, 7-10 p.m., at the Haviland Club, Charlottetown, with a guaranteed partner and fun play, as well as a mini lesson at 6:30 p.m.

Bridge is played at the Silver Threads Club in Souris on Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

The Community of Miltonvale Park walking group is Tuesdays at 1 p.m. at the Miltonvale Community Park, 413 Sleepy Hollow Rd. (or carpool from the Milton Community Hall at 2:45 p.m).
