Fundraisers
Spring Park United Church is holding a giant bake sale at the Confederation Court Mall in Charlottetown on Friday, Dec. 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with lots of homebaked goodies, including cookies, squares, cakes, pies and tea breads. Jams, jellies, pickles and fudge will also be on sale.
East Coast Art Party is Dec. 1, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at West River United Church in Cornwall. This 13-plus event is a fundraiser for the church, and $15 from every ticket sold is going to the church to assist with the Sunday school/ youth space renovation. Tickets are $39.95. Capture the Queen of Hearts is at the Fort Augustus Rec Centre, Fridays, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Trivia is at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold until 8 p.m. for a chance to win a growing jackpot.
