Sam Yuan and Zechi Li, centre, went 4-0 to win the under-19 boys doubles title at the recent Badminton P.E.I. under-15/under-19 tournament in Charlottet­own. Frankie Woods, Aiden Pot, left, were second while Ming Yi Chen and Yinxiao Chen, right, placed third. Yuan then teamed with Jiarong Geng to take the under-15 mixed doubles crown. Spencer Gallant and Adelle Breau finished second and Torey MacDonald and Guangqian Shen placed third. In other results, Ming Yi Chen defeated Brandon Gaudet 21-16, 24-26 and 21-15 to win the under-19 boys singles crown. Yihan Zhang, centre, defeated Leon Yuan, right, in the final to win the under-15 boys singles division at the recent Badminton P.E.I. under-15/under-19 tournament in Charlottet­own. Guanqian Shen, left, won the consolatio­n. Chen got some revenge after he teamed with Spencer Gallant to go 3-0 and win the under-15 boys doubles title. Haibo Li and Leon Yuan went 2-1 to win silver and Junming Feng and Leo Lu placed third. In other under-15 results, Alexis Fougere won the girls singles gold with a 16-21, 23-21 and 21-16 defeat of Torey MacDonald in the final, while Adelle Breau was third. Breau and MacDonald went 2-0 to win the girls doubles title. Hayden Ford and Aiden Pot, centre, went 3-0 in the round robin to win the under-19 mixed doubles division at the recent Badminton P.E.I. under15/under-19 tournament in Charlottet­own. Yonghao Yu and Ruiwen Zhu, right, finished second at 2-1, while Brittney Foster, left, and partner Frankie Woods (missing from photo) earned the consolatio­n with a 1-2 record. Ford also won the under-19 girls singles title after going 2-0 in the round-robin event. Cici Huo placed second and Foster finished third.
