Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole

The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, will be having a cribbage tournament on Thursday, Dec. 21. Registrati­on begins at 9:15 a.m. with the games at 9:30 a.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for non-members. There will be a 50/50 draw and prizes for first, second and third. Partners are not required but are recommende­d.

The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, will be having an Auction tournament on Thursday, Dec. 21. Registrati­on is at 12:45 p.m. with the tournament starting at 1 p.m. Admission is $5 for members and $6 for nonmembers. There will be a 50/50 draw as well as prizes for first, second and third.

The Mayflower Seniors Club has bridge play Thursdays, 1:30 p.m., at the Robert L. Cotton Centre, Bunbury Road. All players are welcome. Call 902-569-1425.

Cash bingo is at the Montague Legion Br. 8, 15 Douses Rd., Thursdays, 7 p.m., with a 50/50 draw, a progressiv­e jackpot, canteen service and compliment­ary tea and coffee.

Special service

Service of Compassion and Hope – hosted by Kensington Presbyteri­an Church, 54 Victoria St., Kensington, is Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. This service provides an opportunit­y for those who may be grieving, lonely or experienci­ng a loss of any kind to come together in a time of worship. An invitation is extended to all in the community who feel the need for such a worship service in their lives at this time.

Good Neighbourl­y Club Fitness Program at Tracadie Community Centre is Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. for low impact fitness that uses body weights, dumb bells and exercise balls All fitness levels are welcome. Cost is $4, pay as you go.
