The stolen sac

-

Once upon a time Santa was in his workshop writing on his list when the head elf, Katherine, came running up the hall. “SANTA, SANTA! WHERE ARE ALL THE ELVES!” she hollered her face turning red. “We’re all here!” said a voice. Katherine looked across the hall just to see a BIG jumble of elves tied up in a rope. “Ho, Ho, Whoa! What in the world happened here!!” asked Santa. “Uhhh… we can explain…” said one of the elves. “Some guy in a cloak stole you’re sac Santa! And he tied us up in a knot.” They explained. “That must be the coal maker!” shrieked Katherine. “He turns every bad kid in the world into a mindless slave!!!” she said while her long braid was dangling fiercely. “You know what?” she said. “I’m going to get the sac and bring it back.” “But you can’t!” said an elf. “It’s too dangerous!” “Then I’ll get some backup!” Katherine said. Soon she called two of her friends. The son of Rudolph (his name was Bluenose) and another elf called Gabe. So they went to find the sac. “IIII-I’m ccc-cold” said Gabe. “Then let’s find a place to rest,” Katherine said. They kept walking and finally they found a nice little cave to sit in. While they rested, Gabe was sitting on a wet log. In a matter of moments, Gabe slipped and fell off the log! He tumbled on a huge rock and his back hit the rock. Hard. Then, the cave split open. “Gabe you found the entrance!” Katherine yelled. They went in and found a big unstable bridge. “C’mon guys!” Bluenose said. He flew right over the bridge. “Newsflash you’re a reindeer. I’m an elf,” said Gabe. “Oh right,” said Bluenose his face turning red with embarrassment. He flew over and he let them on his back. “Sorry,” he said. With the three friends on his back they went over the bridge. Meanwhile the coal maker was sitting on his throne singing, “I stole Santa’s sack and he’ll never get it back!” When suddenly, the three friends burst through the door. “Give us the sack, coal maker!!” they said. “Well, well, well….” the coal maker sounded like a demon. “Look what we have here.” “You think you can just get the sack like that well…You can’t!” “Oh yes we can!” chirped Gabe. The three friends grabbed a pickaxe and made coal fall on top of him. Then they grabbed the sack and started to run. “YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE LAST OF MEEEE!” the coal maker shrieked. “Oh I think we have” taunted Katherine. In a flash, the three friends hopped on Bluenose and went back to the workshop. “HO, HO, HO!” Santa said. “You kids have really done it this year.” Santa hopped into his sleigh and another Christmas was here again.

The End.
