Tuesday, Jan. 9, 4:30 p.m., for a seniors roast beef dinner being put on by the Seniors Group of Holy Redeemer at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre on Pond Street, Charlottetown. The price is $13. Tickets can be reserved by calling David at 892-1558 by the 5 p.m. deadline on Jan. 7. Call early as this dinner has sold out before the deadline many times in the past.

A free Taste and Learn…Warming Winter Soups! class will be held on Monday, Jan. 8, 11 a.m. to noon, at Sobeys Extra Stratford. Join the Sobeys dietitian and learn how to prepare tasty recipes.
