GRANT, Mary “Myrna”

The death occurred gracefully with family at her side at the Souris Hospital on Sunday, January 7, 2018 of Mary “Myrna” Grant in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Jackie Grant, and dear mother of David (Rena), Jacqueline Roberts (Sydney), Doreen Walsh

(Mike), and Deborah Westfall (Roger).

She will be missed by her grandchildren Jennifer,

Lucas (Kristen), Amanda

Roberts (Roger), Tony Roberts (Nancy), Jordan Walsh (Heather), Nicole Perry (Matthew), Michaela, Joshua Westfall (Lauren), and great grandchildren Liam Grant, John Lorenza Roberts-Hershey, Abigail and Sabrina Roberts, Sophia Harding, Archer Walsh, Keira Perry, Leif Walsh, and Jackson Westfall. Survived by siblings Paul Cheverie (Gertie), Stevie Cheverie (Barb), Joe Cheverie (Margie), Marylin Lewis (David), Clair Desormeaux (Paul), special friend Father Paul Batchilder, and numerous nieces, nephews and inlaws. Predeceased by parents Ivan and Phyllis Cheverie, son Joseph, brothers Ivan “Sonny”, and Robert “Bobby” Cheverie, and sister Christine Scharman. Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home with visiting hours on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time. Funeral Mass to be celebrated Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Mary’s Cemetery Fund, or the Colville Manor would be appreciated.
