CAMPBELL, Peg

The funeral mass for the late Peg Campbell was held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. George’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s with Father Tim Broderick officiating. Placing the pall on the casket were her children, Greg, Elaine, Erroll and Brenda Campbell. Altar Servers were Geordie Johnston and Edith MacDonald. The First reading was read by granddaughter, Krista Campbell, while the second reading was proclaimed by granddaughter, Erin Dolan. Offering the prayers of intercession was great grandchildren, Chloe Campbell and Reese Campbell. The Gospel and Homily were delivered by Father Tim Broderick. Pallbearers were grandsons, Eric Campbell, Mark Campbell, Brad Campbell, Jason Campbell, David Campbell, Rob Campbell, Randy Campbell, Scott Campbell, Glenn Campbell and Evan Perry. Honorary Pallbearers were everyone in attendance. The Flower Bearers included great grandchildren, Andrew Campbell, Jenny Campbell, Maria Burke, Nathan Campbell and Brogan Campbell. Passing out the funeral bulletins were great grandsons, Matt and Mark Campbell and granddaughterin-law, Trudy Campbell. Gift bearers included granddaughters, Tracy Campbell and Ellen Campbell. Providing the music were the St. George’s church choir accompanied by family friends, Kevin and Kenny Chaisson; granddaughters-in-law, Alison Campbell and Donna Johnson Campbell; and great granddaughter, Chloe Campbell, singing the following, Processional, Tears; Preparation of gifts, Only a Shadow; Communion, Hail Mary, Gentle Woman; Mediation, How Great Thou Art; incensing, Songs of the Angels; and Recessional, Neil Gow’s Lament. Interment was in the parish cemetery. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to North Shore Funeral Home, Morell.
