Country music fans can look forward to a lively performance from singing/songwriting sensation Chris Janson who will hit the stage this May in Summerside.

The tour showcases Janson’s unique ability to combine country past with country future, earning the respect and appreciation of any audience.

Opening for Janson will be Tristan Horncastle, who is described as a breakout artist on the country music charts.

Janson’s performances have been called a “live legacy in the making” and he assures he’s lived all the songs he performs. “I wrote all these songs and they all come from an absolutely real place.”

Janson’s career-defining success began with his platinumcertified No.1 hit “Buy Me a Boat.” Other hits include “Fix a Drink” and current single “Drunk Girl” from his sophomore album “Everybody.”

The performer has also penned songs for other country music stars such as Tim McGraw, Hank Williams Jr. and others.

The electrifying multi-instrumentalist is known as much for his hit songwriting as his performances, with Rolling Stone describing him as having “a mesmerizing stage presence that most arena-headlining artists would kill for.”

Recently selected by legendary entertainer Garth Brooks to open the final show on his massive World Tour, Janson has also become a Grand Ole Opry regular.

Guest performer for the Summerside show, Horncastle is known for songs like “She Brings the Beer” and “You Want” and is eager to share more of his life with his new record.

Jason will take the stage on May 4 at Credit Union Place right after Horncastle’s performance starting at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets can be ordered by calling Ticketmaster at 1-855-985-5000, online or in person at the Credit Union Place box office.
