Arsenault reunion in August

-

The next international Arsenault reunion will be held in the Evangeline Region on Aug. 17-18 during the World Acadian Congress.

The launching of the preliminary program for this family reunion will take place at the Vanier Centre in Wellington on Sunday at 2 p.m.

The organizing committee invites the general public to be part of the launch and become enthusiastic about the future two-day event, which will attract hundreds of people from across not only Canada and the U.S. but the world at large.

The launching event at the Vanier Centre will feature a musical jam. Arsenault musicians are invited to attend with their musical instruments. They’ll leave no doubt that music is very much an integral part of the lives of the Arsenault family. The members of the organizing committee have been working for over a year to plan the reunion and are looking forward to presenting the fruit of their labour.

The committee members are Georges Arsenault (president), Sister Marie L. Arsenault (vicepresident), Melina ArsenaultGallant (secretary), Alfred Arsenault (treasurer), Gabriel Arsenault (assistant treasurer), Rose Arsenault, Leonce Arsenault, and Edgar Arsenault.

Anyone who is member of the large Arsenault family through their father, mother or through marriage is welcome to participate in the launching of the program for the reunion of one of the largest Acadian families.

In case of inclement weather, the launch will be postponed to Sunday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m.
