Tuesday, Feb. 6, 4:30 p.m., for a seniors roast beef dinner being put on by the seniors group of Holy Redeemer at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre on Pond Street, Charlottetown. The price is $13. Tickets can be reserved by calling David at 902-892-1558 by the 5 p.m. deadline on Feb. 4. Call early as this dinner has sold out before the deadline many times in the past.
Saturday, Feb. 10, 9:30 a.m. to noon, for a Valentine Coffee Party at Spring Park United Church, Trafalgar Street, Charlottetown (storm date: Feb. 17). Contact Joan at 902-892-3865 for tickets. The cost is $8. There will also be a “new to you” jewelry table.
Saturday, Feb.10, 7 p.m. (storm date, Feb.11) for the annual Valentine’s dinner at Central Queens United Church, Hunter River. Enjoy a three-course meal with roast pork loin as the feature. Coffee club is Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m., at the Milton Community Hall. Enjoy coffee and snacks. Admission is a donation of coin or treats.

Fitness for 50+ classes with certified fitness professional Angelie Carter (focus on flexibility and balance) are Mondays and Fridays, 9 a.m., at the Milton Community Hall. Cost is $3. Classes are cancelled on days there is a school delay or closure due to weather. Good Neighbourly Club Fitness Program at Tracadie Community Centre is on Mondays, 6:30 p.m., with low impact fitness using body weights, dumb bells and exercise balls. All fitness levels are welcome. Cost is $4, pay as you go.
