SHEA, Mary Margaret

The funeral mass for Mary Shea was celebrated Wednesday, January 24, 2018, from Hillsboro Funeral Home to St. Joachim’s Church, Vernon River with Fr. Benedict Paulraj, O. Praem proclaiming the gospel and delivering the homily. The pall was placed by her sons - Fred and Andy Shea, daughter Patricia Shea and son-in-law Russell Birt. The Pascal Candle was lit by grandchildren - Arnold Lund and Andrew Shea Jr. The first reading was read by Arnold Lund; second reading by Bernadette Dumville and prayers of intercession by Sarah Shea. Music was provided by organist and soloist Joan Gleadall. The processional hymn was “Amazing Grace”; responsorial psalm - “The Lord is my Shepherd”; offertory - “I am Your Today”; communion “Holy Spirit Come to Me”; meditation - “I Will Sing You Home”; incense - “Songs of the Angels” and the recessional hymn was “Go in Peace”. The Gift Bearers were Shirley Ann Shea, Landon Warren, Bobby Lund and Mary Matheson. The Eucharistic Minister and holy water and incense bearer was Donna Trainor. The cross bearer was Eddie Trainor and the altar servers were Rose Doherty and Dianne Fraser. The Honorary Pallbearers were all the Grandchidren and GreatGrandchildren. The pallbearers were Walter Redmond, Joseph McGuirk, Hubert Shea, Pat Duffy, Ricky Quilty and Vince Redmond. Interment will follow later at St. Joachim’s Cemetery. Completion of funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
