The Brain Injury Association is asking Island residents to help support its second annual Bottles for Brain Injuries. Simply take all returnables to any of the participating bottle exchanges and tell them you want to donate the proceeds to the Brain Injury Association.

St. Francis of Assisi CWL coffee party is on Saturday, Feb. 10, 9:3011:30 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Cornwall. Tickets are $7 each and can be purchased at the door.

Treat your sweetheart on Saturday, Feb. 10, 5:30 p.m., at the second annual roast beef dinner at Park Royal United Church in Charlottetown. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. The event includes a silent auction featuring baked goods.

Central Queens United Church, Hunter River, is hosting its annual Valentine’s Dinner on Saturday, Feb.10, 7 p.m. (storm date: Feb.11). Enjoy a three-course meal with roast pork loin as the feature, as well as a variety of music to accompany dinner, including “Partly Mixed”, (some members of Party Mix), along with others.
