Presentati­ons

The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, will be having a presentati­on on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 11 a.m., with Gordon McNeilly, a profession­al motivation­al speaker who will talk about staying active and healthy at all ages. He also runs the aqua fitness classes and an active living class for seniors in the Bell Aliant Centre.

February is Psychology Month, and the Psychologi­cal Associatio­n of Prince Edward Island has teamed up with Confederat­ion Centre Public Library as host to present a series of talks dealing with various psychologi­cal issues. Breathing Strategies for Relaxation will be presented on Feb. 22 at 7 p.m. with Dr. Magda Pietruch.

Community

An LGBTQ2+ Adult Drop-in will be held on the third Wednesday of each month starting Feb. 21. Gatherings will take place 6-8 p.m. at the Holland College Charlottet­own campus (140 Weymouth St.). in room 20W. Meetings are open to community. This is a joint initiative of PEERS Alliance, P.E.I. Women’s Network, UPEI and Holland College.
