FOX offers balanced views

I congratulate David Campbell for his letter of 8 March, 2018, in which he related his experience in gaining access to a wider range of news services from internet and broadcast providers.

A few years ago, I became tired of hearing what I believed to be only one side of the “story” from TV presenters. During visits to the U.S. I often tuned into FOX News. FOX News gave me an opportunity to hear differing points of view from a wider range of opinions. CNN had new competition for my viewing time.

Not being able to find access in Canada I wrote a note to Eastlink and now a few short years later FOX News, CNN and others are readily accessible as part of their programming. Thank you, Eastlink, for giving your subscribers access to a much wider range of news reporting.

Now I am more informed by new opportunities to form my own opinions on what I conclude is accurate, fair and balanced news reporting.
