The funeral for Anne Hogan was held on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from Belvedere Funeral Home to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall where the mass was presided over by Fr. Lyndon Hogan who proclaimed the Gospel and delivered the homily. The pall was placed on the casket by Paul, Emily and Connor Hogan. Tanner Hood and Melanie Hogan brought the gifts to the altar. The readings were proclaimed by Bonnie Stewart and Ida Bernard. Mike Hogan led the Assembly in the Prayers of the Faithful. The organist was Bernie Field. During the mass, the Good Shepherd Choir led the Assembly in singing Amazing Grace, The Lord is My Shepherd, For Those Tears I Died, Peace Is Flowing Like A River and On Eagles Wings. Ramona Taylor sang Hail Mary, Gentle Woman and Ashokan Farewell was played by violinist Courtney Hogan-Chandler. Honorary pallbearer­s were everyone present. Pallbearer­s were Cyril Bernard, Jeff Harper, Billy Shields, Parker Butler, Roy Hustler and Carter Hogan. Flowerbear­ers Maddy Galway, Stephanie Dawson, Kira Duckworth, Lauren Ladouceur, EmmaLee Butler, Taylyn Hood and Victoria Vanderveld­en. Interment took place in St. Martin of Tours and St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland PEI. Those attending the funeral liturgy included representa­tives of the East Wiltshire School, Bluefield High School and North River Bantam Team. Following the interment, everyone was invited to join the family at the Afton Community Center for a reception and time of rememberin­g.
