Third show in Trinity United Winter Concert Series

The third concert in the Trinity United Winter Concert Series will be held on March 18 at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 90 Spring St. in Summerside.

This concert will feature a variety of entertaine­rs, including Blu Gillis, Not All There Band, Sandra and Ricky Jones and the comedy act of Sara and Annie, AKA, Wanda Dunbar and Ruth Smallman.

Gillis, a dynamic musician/ artist from Summerside, was raised in a musical family with early influences which include country and western and rock ’n’ roll. After a decade or so of profession­al bass playing, 2014 saw him depart from music performanc­e to raising a family. He Sara (Ruth Smallman) and Annie (Wanda Dunbar) will be taking the stage in Summerside Sunday afternoon.

is a passionate performer with a knack for finding the sweet spot of a song and is delighted to have this opportunit­y to perform at Trinity.

Not All There Band, which includes Gary Arsenault, Mike Johnson, Ramona Roberts and Wendell Cameron, have been entertaini­ng at concerts and ceilidhs for well over 20 years and although Irish music is

their preference, they also delve into many other styles of music that includes a bit of rock, modern and folk.

Jones, who started singing at the age of three, comes from a singing family from Roseville, P.E.I. She sang in Nashville and on cruise ships and has recorded CDs, along with her husband, Ricky, who she met through music. started singing together publicly across the Island about five years ago. They both grew up on traditiona­l country, but love all kinds of music. They have a son, Andy who sings a little and plays drums. He sometimes plays along with them as they enjoy playing together as a family.

Dunbar and Smallman both live in O’Leary and have been singing and doing skits to bring lots of laughter to the people of Prince County for many years.
