Health/classes

Yoga is at Tracadie Community Centre on Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m., chair or mat. Cost is $4.

There is an exercise for seniors class at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Stroller Fit is being hosted by Family Place, at the Credit Union Place walking track Tuesdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. This group is for new parents of all ages and their wee ones and is offered free of charge. Come out and get a bit of exercise and meet and socialize with other new parents. Registration is not required.

Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program is being hosted by Family Place, 75 Central Street, Summerside Tuesdays 6-8 pm., until April 24. Sessions show parents/guardians about their child’s feelings, behaviours, development and safety as well as sharing what it is like to be a parent. This program is based on what parents want to discuss, not step-by-step from a book. To register, drop in to Family Place, call 902-436-1348 or familyplace@eastlink.ca.

A free 5 Secrets to Heart Health class will be held on Wednesday April 11, 11 a.m. to noon, at Sobeys West Royalty. Join the Sobeys dietitian and learn which foods help the heart. Call 902-5664399 or email shannon.ochsner@sobeys.com to register. Space is limited.

Cards/Cribbage/ Crokinole

Auction tournament is Wednesdays at the North Rustico Lions Club, 1 p.m. Cost is $10, per team. Lionettes will run the 50/50 draw.

Auction/45s is at the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, Charlottetown, Wednesdays 1:30 p.m.

Admission is $2. There will also be a 50/50 draw.

Cards are played at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Cornwall on Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. There is a 50/50 draw and a loonie prize. Lunch is served.

Card parties (45s) are in St. Teresa’s in the church activity room, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. The game is being played as singles, so a partner is not necessary. There is a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch.

St. Pius X Church Knights of Columbus cribbage is Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., in the basement of St. Pius X Church, St. Peter’s Road, Charlottetown, with prize, a loonie pot and a 50/50 draw. Bring a partner. Cost: $5 per person.
