The Delta Prince Edward and Holman Grand hotels in Charlottetown are among seven restaurants and nine hotels across Atlantic Canada that have been awarded the CAA/AAA Four Diamond rating.

The rating is among Canadian Automobile Association’s highest designations for hotels and restaurants. Restaurants at the Four Diamond level offer a distinctive fine dining experience, with creative chefs, imaginative menus, fresh top-quality ingredients and expert staff.

Hotels rated Four Diamond are stylish and refined, providing upscale physical attributes, extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.

“The CAA/AAA Four Diamond Rating means that guests can expect personalized service and attentive staff in comfortable, high-quality surroundings,” said Gary Howard, vice-president, communications for CAA Atlantic.

“We’re proud to have so many establishments in our region that have received this designation.”

The Holman Grand Hotel is in its sixth year of being designated Four Diamond, while the Delta Prince Edward is in its fourth year.

Other hotels in the region earning the designation are the Westin Nova Scotian and Prince George hotels in Halifax, Fox Harb’r in Wallace, N.S, the Delta Fredericton, the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews, N.B., and Casino New Brunswick in Moncton.
