Watermark Theatre’s online auction begins April 16

Watermark Theatre in North Rustico is holding an online auction to help raise funds for the 2018 summer season. Items both local to P.E.I. and further afield will be auctioned off, offering sports, theatre, travel, hotel and restaurant options for purchase.

Go to www.biddingowl.com/Auction/home.cfm?auctionID=14509 from now until April 15 for viewing only. The bidding is open from April 16 to 30.

Funds raised will support the upcoming summer season featuring classical theatre production­s such as “Dial ‘M’ for Murder” by Frederick Knott and “A Moon for the Misbegotte­n” by Eugene O’Neill.

The Play Reading Series is returning this season to introduce audiences to new scripts written by Islanders.

The Classic Music Reignited music series will celebrate the decades of music from the 1930s to the 1980s, while the Watermark Gallery displays the talents of Island artists.

The Theatre Production Mentorship Project will be training young theatre artists to become the leaders of tomorrow and the Acting Conservato­ry will offer a two-week acting intensive for young students.
