SPENCE, Catherine

The funeral for Catherine Spence was held on Friday, April 13, 2018 from Belvedere Funeral Home Chapel where the service was conducted by Rev. Gary Clark. The organist was Ann Andrews. During the service Juliette Squarebriggs sang In the Sweet By and By and Sonny’s Dream. The congregational hymns were Nearer My God to Thee and How Great Thou Art. Words of remembrance were shared by Darlene Waye. Pallbearers were Sterling MacRae, Floyd Ford, Reggie MacKinnon, Vernon Waye, Harvey Silliphant and Allison Waye. Interment took place in Wheatley River Cemetery. Those attending the funeral service included members of the Central Queens United Church UCW and the Greenvale Women’s Institute. Following the interment, everyone was invited to join the family for a reception at the Central Queens United Church.
