Ceilidhs are Fridays at St. Peters Circle Club, St. Peters, 7:30-11 p.m., with local entertainm­ent. Admission is $5.

A ceilidh is at the Kaylee Hall, Fridays, 8-11 p.m. Admission is $5. Music is by Jim Madsen, Donnie MacDonald, Jim Galpin and Elinor MacAulay.

Legion kitchen party is at the Summerside Legion, April 21, 2-5 p.m., featuring Randy Murray.

Helping Hands Band Jamboree is April 21, 7:30 p.m., at St. Anthony’s Hall, Route 2, Woodstock, with funds raised supporting local charities. Admission is at the door. Come and enjoy music, fun and lunch.

Saturday ceilidhs are at the Belfast Rec Centre, 8-11 p.m., with a 50-50 draw and a light lunch. In case of a storm, the next ceilidh will be held the following Saturday evening. Call

Irish music session with Roy Johnstone and friends is at the Old Triangle in Charlottet­own, Sundays, 2-5 p.m. Players are welcome.

Acoustic music jam is Sunday, 2-8:30 p.m., with the next one on April 22, at the Acadian Musical Village (Expo-Centre), AbramVilla­ge, organized by the Acadian Musical Village and the Evangeline Bluegrass Festival. Admission is $3 (adults only) with supper served at 5 p.m. for $10. There is also a door prize and a 50/50 draw. Call 902-854-2324.

A ceilidh is at the York Community Centre on April 22,

7 p.m., with the house band (Herb MacDougall, Joe Penney, Janice Hebert, Bob

Perry David Moore, Theo Wiegers) and guest performers Emerald Junction (Anne and Ron), Eric Leamont, Millie MacDonald, Mary Smith and Stan Paquet. There will be a 50/50 draw and a door prize, and lunch will be served. The centre is wheelchair accessible. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Winsloe United Church ceilidh is April 23, 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The host will be Larry Campbell, joined by musical guests Marcella Richard, Jolee Patkai and Keila Glydon. Also performing will be Heartz Godkin, Brian Knox and Judy Lowe. This is a fundraiser for the church; admission is $10 at the door. A light lunch will be served. Kitchen party-style entertainm­ent, featuring classic rock, country and anything else, is at The Shed, Slemon Park Hotel and Conference Centre, every Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. New talent is welcome. Acoustic jams are Wednesdays, 6:30-9 p.m., at Murphy’s Community Centre, Charlottet­own, Room 109,

Joe Lawless and Glen Gaudet. Lunch and a 50/50 are available.
