Wasting tax dollars on cow, fox, motel

-

Well here we are yet again with that same old thorn in the side of our government officials and leadership, like the saying goes, the chickens always come home to roost, and apparently according to the latest news in The Guardian, there were a lot more than chickens roosting at an address or two in Charlottetown.

At least that is what the address information on over 500 immigration applications would appear to be showing according to Canada border services.

All I can say to that piece of information is wow!

Yes, wow, not cow, that of course is another stellar example of how dysfunctional things truly are within government on P.E.I. and the absolutely shameful display of just how little Islanders tax dollars are respected, as made clear by the waste of time devoted to debating over, fox or cow as the Island’s official animal. I am sure both nominees were exhausted by the time the arguments wound down.

If only they had of known that they could have had a faster track to a rubber stamp process had they have picked a better address to post on their application form, they could have had a room at the inn, while awaiting the much-anticipated announcement of the official winner of such a truly beneficial use of our tax dollars and legislature’s time.

Never ceasing to be amazed at what goes on in government.
