Meetings

The next meeting of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Associatio­n, P.E.I. chapter is Tuesday, May 29, 9:30 a.m., in the North Tryon Presbyteri­an Church Hall, North Tryon. Special guests will be Brenda Porter and Brenda Graves. Both travelled extensivel­y to different locations during the past few months. They will share their experience­s and give tips to make travelling easier with a hearing loss. There will also be an update on the looping project, a tea break and a business meeting.

The Miltonvale Park Walking Group meets Tuesdays at 1 p.m. (weather permitting) at the back entrance to the Charlottet­own Mall for walking either in the mall or on the Confederat­ion Trail or carpool from the Milton Community Hall at 12:45 p.m.

The Cornwall and Area 50+ Club meets weekly at the Cornwall Civic Centre on Tuesdays, 1:30 p.m., for cribbage, auction and brief business items. Bridge is played on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. Skip Bo is played on Thursdays, 1 p.m. Admission is $2.

Cribbage is Tuesdays, 1 p.m. at the Star of the Sea Seniors’ Club, Sunrise Crescent, North Rustico.

An ACBL sanctioned duplicate game is Tuesdays, 7-10 p.m., at the Haviland Club, Charlottet­own, with a guaranteed partner and fun play, as well as a mini lesson at 6:30 p.m.

Centre on Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m., chair or mat. Cost is $4.

There is an exercise for seniors class at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Stroller Fit is being hosted by Family Place,

at the Credit Union Place walking track Tuesdays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. There is no charge. Come out and get a bit of exercise and meet and socialize with other new parents. Registrati­on is not required.
