the annual Rhubarb Social at the Canoe Cove School, put on by the Canoe Cove Community Associatio­n. Come and sample a delicious variety of homemade rhubarb pies, cakes, cookies, squares and more. All proceeds go toward the maintenanc­e and beautifica­tion of the old Canoe Cove Schoolhous­e and grounds.

June 23, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kensington United Church congregati­onal yard sale – held rain or shine indoors at the Murray Christian Education Centre, 17 School St., Kensington, featuring barbecued hot

dogs, a bake table and many tables of donated and used treasures.

Fundraiser

A yard sale fundraiser for Emmalee Gosby is June 2, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Parkdale School, 49, Confederat­ion St., Charlottet­own. There will be plenty of items, a bake sale, hotdogs, beverages, a bouncy castle and inflatable derby run. There will also be bracelets to purchase in support of Emmalee. A gospel ceilidh is Sunday, June 3, 7 p.m. at Alexandra Baptist Church.
