RANKIN, Richard (Dick) Hudson

The Funeral for Richard Hudson “Dick” Rankin was held Sunday June 24, 2018 from the Davison Funeral Home Kensington to Trinity United Church Summerside where the service was conducted at 4:30 p.m. by Rev. Dr. Andrew Richardson. Remembrances were shared by his son Chris Rankin. Scripture readings were given by Granddaughters Emily Rankin and Kathleen Rankin. Soloist, his brother Allan Rankin rendered the selection How Great Thou Art. Congregational hymns were The Lord’s My Shepherd and How Firm a Foundation. Organist was Louise Elder. Attending the Funeral were Brethren of several Masonic Lodges, members of Trinity United Church Women, Southwest River United Church Women, Greenshore Quilters and Bridge Club Friends. Flowerbearers were Granddaughters Andrea Rankin and Mary Jean Rankin. Urn Bearer was Grandson Keagan Rankin. Interment was in People’s Cemetery Summerside. Brethren of Hiram and Lebanon Lodge # 3, Summerside and Zetland Lodge # 7 Alberton held a Masonic Memorial Service at the funeral home Saturday evening where the service was conducted at 7 p.m. by VW Bro(h) John MacIsaac, PM. The service was attended by MW Bro Gordon Carter, Grand Master of Masons for Prince Edward Island; Worshipful Master W Bro Michael Cameron, Worshipful Master Paul Beattie, Chaplain MW Bro J. Bruce Small PGM; Marshall MW Bro Kevin B. Crozier, PGM; together with the officers and brethren of their lodges and several visiting brethren.
