It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother W Lorraine Coffin (nee Boyd) at Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, N.B. on Sunday, July 15, 2018. She was born August 7, 1918 and was just shy of her 100th birthday. Predecease­d by her husband, Gordon Coffin; brothers, Norman and Lehman Boyd; mother, Lola C Boyd (nee Morley); father, David Boyd. Loving mother of Boyd (Geraldine), Morley, and Laurie Lee (John McFarlane). Forever remembered by her granddaugh­ter, Suzanne (Christophe­r) Stanton; special grandchild­ren, James (Kilby) McFarlane and Deana McFarlane (Richard Cote); great grandchild­ren Harrison, Ty, Braelyn, Kendal, Emily, Jessica and Mercedes; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was born in Fillmore and raised in Lafleche, Saskatchew­an, graduated from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal and worked at hospitals across the Maritimes and for a long time at the cancer clinic in the old VPH and also at DECH in Fredericto­n. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericto­n, N.B. on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Gibson Memorial United Church, 183 Gibson Street, Fredericto­n, N.B. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Rev Kelly Higgins officiatin­g. Internment will take place in Sunny Bank Cemetery, Fredericto­n. A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gibson United Church, food cupboard or charity of donor’s choice. Personal condolence­s may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
