DRAKE, Leslie Randall

The Service of Worship Celebrating the life of Leslie Randall Drake was held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, from Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home to St. Andrew’s United Church, Vernon Bridge. The Service was officiated by Rev. Karen MacNeill. Lynda Sharpe, organist, accompanied the St. Andrew’s Church Choir, under the direction of Andrea Ellis Music Director. Prelude music was by Lynda Sharpe and Merilyn MacRae. Words of Remembrance were given by sons, Adam Drake, Patrick Drake and brother Larry Drake. Scripture Readings were read by Barb Drake, Kate Drake, and George Doughart. Hymns by the Church Choir were “All Things Bright And Beautiful” and “Come Let Us Sing”. Special Music “Closer To You” was played and sung by Lynda Sharpe, Richard MacRae, Merilyn MacRae and Barrie Reid. Special Music “In The Sweet By and By” and recessional were played and sung by Eddy Quinn, John Webster and Sheila MacKenzie. The Pallbearers were Victor MacLeod, Alan MacDonald, David MacLeod, Jonathan Drake, Randy Drake and Ryan Drake. Flower Bearers were Ian Drake, Austin Drake, Lynn Drake, Nick Drake, Jill Drake, Brian MacIntyre, Tracy MacKinnon, Laura Shaw, Scott Shaw, Miranda Shaw and Nicole Decoursey. Honorary Pallbearers were everyone present. Ushers for the Funeral were David MacDonald, Barry Logan and Brenda Logan. Mizpah Lodge # 17, Eldon, also held a Masonic Memorial Service at the Funeral Home on July 4, 2018.
