Award-winning Arkells play free concert

The Juno-winning Arkells Band will play a free concert this month at the P.E.I. Brewing Company.

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (Aurora) has launched the Illumination Concert Series, a concert tour featuring a diverse selection of top musical acts in cities across Canada this summer.

As part of the series, the Arkells will play at the Charlottetown venue on Sunday, July 22.

Special guest Side Hustle will also be performing.

Aurora provides cannabis and health products and services, and Aurora CEO Terry Booth said the concert series’ aim is to shine a light on cannabis, while emphasizing the diversity of Canadian communities.

“We’re proud to bring Canadians of all types together for what promises to be truly memorable, feel-good celebrations throughout summer 2018.”

The concert series debuted April 20 in Vancouver with EDM artist, platinum selling DJ and Moombahton pioneer Dillon Francis. A second event took place in Toronto May 31 and featured Canadian rock duo Death From Above 1979, and the third event took place in Calgary and featured platinum-selling artist Tash Sultana.

Tickets for are limited for these exclusive events and attendees must be registered to receive their personal access code.
