The funeral service for Hazel Gordon (Stewart) Colwill wife of the late Claude Colwill was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel to the Tyne Valley United Church for service at 10:30 a.m. with Rev Pamela Reidpath conducting the service. Loving remembranc­es were offered by Karen Ellis and Pamela Williams. The scripture lessons were from Philippian­s 4: 4-9, offered by Rob Frost, Psalm 23, offered by Susan MacLennan and the Gospel was John 14. Organist Carl Phillips, led the choir in singing “In The Garden”, congregati­onal hymns were “Faith Of Our Fathers” and “All The Way My Saviour Leads Me”. The pallbearer­s were Chris Williams, Greg Bryant, Gary Bryant, Andy Frost, Corey Frost, Rob Frost and Scott Colwill. The flowerbear­ers were Patricia Williams, Pamela Williams, Susan MacLennan, Karen Ellis and Stacey Morneault. Interment followed in the Church cemetery. The Family of Hazel Colwill expresses gratitude for the kindness shown to our mother and to us. We appreciate the visits, food, cards, online condolence­s, flowers and donations in our mother’s memory. Thank you to Ferguson Funeral Home for their profession­al caring service. A sincere thank you to our friend Rev Pam Reidpath for conducting a touching funeral service and to Carl Phillips and the amazing choir who provided music. Thank you to Between Friends Catering for providing a delicious luncheon at the Northam Community Centre.
