The Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, will be having a brown bag lunch on Sept. 11 at 11:30 a.m. Mayoral candidate Cecil Villard will answer questions and share his plans for the city if elected.

Meetings

The Christian Women’s club will be meeting for breakfast on Thursday, Sept. 13, 9:15 a.m., at the Delta Hotel featuring Margie Villard and the “Joys of Organizing” and special RSVP speaker Hazel McMullen from Moncton sharing her faith story, “Peace in the Eye of the Storm”. Card parties (45s) are in St. Teresa’s in the church activity room, Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. The game is being played as singles, so a partner is not necessary. There is a 50/50 draw, and a light lunch.

St. Pius X Church Knights of Columbus cribbage is Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m., in the basement of St. Pius X Church, St. Peter’s Road, Charlottetown, with prize, a loonie pot and a 50/50 draw. Cost: $5 per person.

Health/classes

There is an exercise for seniors class at the Seniors Active Living Centre, Bell Aliant Centre, UPEI, on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

Recreation
