Schools welcome new, returning staff

Montague Regional High School

MRHS is excited to begin the 2018-2019 school year and welcomes new additions to the staff. They include Jessica Snowdon, Sara Visser, Paige Wright, Morgan Hennessey, Catherine Kelly, Abbie Hume, and Beka Buell.

Meet the Teacher Night is Monday, Sept. 10 from 6-7 p.m.

Heckbert Studio and Gallery will be at Montague Regional High from Sept. 17 – Sept. 20 to take grad photos of all potential graduates. All potential grads must have their grad photo taken at this time. See Kristina McLane for more information.

Parent Council meeting is Monday, Sept. 17, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Colonel Gray High School

The school welcome new teachers Amanda Dunsford and Nancy Milton (English) and Joseph Weale (art, visual communications and crafts.

Returning to the teaching staff are Suba Aiver (agri-science, CEO, oceanography, math), Greg Chandler (EAL, English and CEO), Jared Cheverie (science, geography, law), Mark Gregory (social studies), Drew Heggie (English), Rob MacDonald (math, history) and Andrew Rowe (CEO and geography).

Three educational assistants have joined the staff this year. They are Marlo Dodge, Krystal Feehan and Andrea Frew, with Julianne Power also returning.

Today (Sept. 10) is the last day for students to make course changes.

Meet the Teacher Night is Thursday, Sept. 20. Parents are asked to meet first in the cafeteria, then circulate using the student’s timetable, meeting each teacher in the classrooms.

School pictures will be taken Sept. 20-21 using the cafeteria stage.
