Popular winter festival returns in February
The Jack Frost Winterfest, presented by Island Coastal, is set to return to Charlottetown for four days, Feb. 15-18.
The festival will bring back perennial favourites and include exciting, new features for families.
The Outdoor Snow Kingdom will return to the Charlottetown Event Grounds with an abundance of snow- and ice-inspired fun, food vendors and more.
The nearby Eastlink Centre will play host to a lineup of highlyanticipated children’s entertainers and an indoor playland filled with bouncies and inflatables.
Frosty Night, featuring live outdoor entertainment and fireworks in Downtown Charlottetown, will also be back by popular demand.
This year, the Outdoor Kingdom will remain open on Monday, Feb. 18, for Family Day, providing families an extra day to experience the joy and wonder of ice slides, ice sculpting and much more.
This year’s host hotels are ready to welcome festival-goers with two- or three-night packages that include VIP access to the event grounds.
Packages for a family of four start at $356 plus tax for two nights and $474 plus tax for three nights.
Also new for 2019, Discover Charlottetown will be extending a complimentary Confederation Bridge Pass to the first 75 people that purchase three-night hotel packages.
The full lineup of live entertainment and programming for Jack Frost will be announced in early November.
