Final prepration­s for rugby Panthers; UPEI soccer teams see first action at home

The Panthers (0-1) host the St. FX XWomen (1-0) today at 2 p.m. in Atlantic University Sport women’s rugby action.

Katherine Ollerhead gave the visitors the lead in the 20th minute off a corner kick in Atlantic University Sport action. The lead held up until Jen Balderston tied it 10 minutes into the second half and Lauren Clark gave the Panthers a 2-1 lead two minutes later. The score held up as the Panthers improved to 1-1-1 and the Mounties fall to 0-3-0. Ali Muise made two saves for the win while Sophie Austin made seven saves in the loss.
